With Kyle Beach's identity finally revealed and some of the individuals who had helped his abuser, Brad Aldrich, to thrive and flourish after the alleged sexual abuse had taken place, TSN's Rick Westhead continues to report on the story to make sure that no important details are lost on the hockey world.

On Friday, Westhead reported that investigators have informed him that Aldrich's employee file, which would contain notes added by the Blackhawks' Human Resources department, has seemed to vanish into, quite conveniently.

While some would challenge that many paper records have a retention period and might be archived or destroyed after a certain amount of time had elapsed, it is worth noting that digital records were the industry standard back in 2010, when the abuse had allegedly taken place.

Westhead added that any files that may have been deleted would have left some sort of a "digital trail", and that the Blackhawks have declined to respond to questions as to whether they're investigating the possibility that Aldrich's file specifically was disposed of on purpose.

A major credit to Westhead for his dedication to helping Kyle Beach receive the justice that he very much deserves and committing himself fully to the pursuit of the truth when nobody else would.
