Some scary moments in Austria Friday after a game was cancelled due to a player collapsing on the ice. According to reports, Boris Sadecky of the Bratislava Capitals simply collapsed to the ice near the end of the first period in a game against the Dornbirn Bulldogs without any interference of any kind.

The ICE Hockey League (International Central European Hockey League) called off the game while Sadecky was being tended to on the ice. After several minutes, he was transported to hospital and remains there in Intensive Care. At this time, there's no word on his current condition, although it has been noted that he's in a medically-induced coma.

Sadecky has been playing professional hockey since 2015, mostly in his home country of Slovakia. He also played two seasons in the KHL. Our thoughts are with Sadecky, his family and teammates at this time.

Despite several searches, no video of the incident could be found.
