Last night New York Rangers forward Matt Rempe sparked controversy again after yet another ejection leading fans to call for his expulsion from the league.

During the New York Rangers and Dallas Stars game last night Matt Rempe was ejected for a dangerous hit to Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen.

With Rempe's ejection last night he has not been thrown out of 4 games in his NHL career which amounts to 18% of the total games he has played in the league.

The repeated nature of Rempe's ejections and dangerous plays overall along with the fact that he does not bring much else to the game has now caused controversy and debate.

Many fans around the NHL have now turned on Rempe after he was beloved for bringing back physical hockey now many want him banned from the league.

Since being ejected yet again Rempe has caused an uproar on social media regarding his style of play and his place in the NHL.

Fans are outraged that Rempe has not been more severely punished considering he is already a repeat offender and one of the most suspended active players in the NHL without playing even a full season's worth of games yet.

Fans have also called out the fact that Rempe continues making dangerous plays even when they go unnoticed by the referees.

Even reporters such as Ken Campbell have called out the NHL for allowing Rempe to run rampant without consequence.

Rempe will now have an in-person hearing with the NHL's Department of Player Safety where his suspension fate will be decided and potentially his future in the NHL if he cannot control himself on the ice.

As more updates are made regarding Rempe's suspension fate and overall punishment we will pass them along to you.
