The New York Rangers announced on Thursday that they've re-signed RFA forward Filip Chytil to a two-year contract. The annual cap hit is $2.3 million.

Chytil, 21, was the Rangers first round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He's spent parts of four seasons with New York where he's tallied 71 points (34 G, 37 A), 32 penalty minutes, and is a -25 in 186 career regular season games.

Internationally, Chytil has represented the Czech Republic on multiple occasions, most recently at the 2021 IIHF World Championship in Latvia. In 8 games, he had 4 points (2 G, 2 A), 2 penalty minutes, and was a +1 as the Czech's finished seventh after losing to Finland in the quarter-finals.

With Chytil now signed, the Rangers have two RFA's left to get locked up, defenceman Libor Hajek and goaltender Igor Shesterkin.
