David Pastrnak Reportedly No Longer Willing to Play With Brad Marchand: Blockbuster Trade Looming?
The rift and tension in the Boston Bruins locker room doesn't appear to be stopping anytime soon, with more issues arising between Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak.
The Boston Bruins will attempt to snap a six-game losing streak when they face the Florida Panthers on Saturday afternoon in Sunrise.
Their recent struggles on the ice have caused them to slip to 11th place in the Eastern Conference by points percentage.
But it's not like problems on the ice are the only issues for the Bruins. The Bruins have tons of drama off the ice, as well, via WEEI's Rich Keefe.
Keefe has had a number of big Bruins scoops in recent days including the firing of head coach Jim Montgomery and updating Hampus Lindholm's injury news.
His reporting on Jeremy Swayman's contract negotiations was later confirmed by national insiders, which at least gives some credence to his latest reporting.
Of greatest concern is the apparent tension between David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand, two of the team leaders and arguably the top players on the roster.
If this feud can't be squashed, then the team might be facing an incredibly tough decision: either find a way to mend fences or possibly trade one of their stars.
As the Bruins move forward to their next game, it will be interesting to see just how well they can turn both on-ice and off-ice things around.
