The Utah Hockey Club have taken a very fan-friendly approach to their first NHL season, and now that's continued with another fantastic announcement.

After finally moving the Arizona Coyotes this past summer, the NHL saw a new team born in the form of the Utah Hockey Club (name hopefully set to change), led by Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith.

From the get go, the organization has looked to be as fan friendly as possible, as they announced an incredibly affordable food and drink menu for the inaugural season of the franchise.

Those are numbers that fans around the league would dream of seeing at their home arena, but it hasn't stopped there, as they made a brilliant announcement for fans on Thursday.

According to reports, the team are set to unveil $10 tickets for their upper bowl seats for the rest of the season, seats that have come under scrutiny this season for their 'obstructed views'.

One reporter took to the upper bowl earlier in the season to see just how bad it was, and while it's definitely obstructed, for $10, you can do much, much worse at an NHL game, with fans in Utah gaining a reputation as one of the best in the NBA and the NHL.

«Reputationally, Jazz fans have been known for being very loud and (creating) a very intimidating environment,» Barney said. «I think we're seeing the exact same thing with our hockey fans, that they've taken the baton and they're going to create their own unique culture.»

The team on the ice have been fun and fairly competitive throughout their first season, and with Smith at the helm looking to take care of the fans in attendance, it's safe to say that things are very positive coming out of Salt Lake City this season.
