Marc-André Fleury pulled off an incredible prank on Sidney Crosby before the final game between the two friends.

Marc-André Fleury and Sidney Crosby were teammates with the Pittsburgh Penguins for 12 years, notably winning three Stanley Cups together between 2005 and 2017, but they're still close.

Nine years have passed since Fleury was picked up by the Vegas Golden Knights at the expansion draft. Now, at 40 years old, the goalie is playing his final NHL season with the Minnesota Wild, after a career spanning over 20 years.

Over the weekend, both the Penguins and the Wild were in Carolina to face the Hurricanes. The two teams stayed at the same hotel, as Minnesota faced Carolina on Saturday, while Pittsburgh faced them on Sunday.

Crosby and some of his teammates used that opportunity to prank Fleury, a war that's been going on for several years now.

Fleury revealed it in a recent interview on The Athletic, saying that Crosby moved things around in his hotel room:

"They moved some things around."

Of course, Fleury retaliated.

The goalie spread Vaseline over Crosby's visor, tied his skates upside down, and put beef sticks in his jock.

Here's what he said to The Athletic:

"I just had a little fun. Wait! I've said too much. It wasn't me. I wasn't there."

The Wild and the Penguins will meet again on the ice this season, on March 9th, in Minnesota.

Unless Fleury changes his mind and signs another contract in the NHL, this should be the last time the former teammates meet on the ice for an official game.

We can't wait to see what they'll pull off then, and if they'll keep it going after retirement.
