The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to win their third straight Super Bowl this season, but now they'll have a major distraction in Week One of the NFL Playoffs as two key pieces of their coaching staff are now being eyed as Head Coach candidates.

The 2024 NFL season was a great one, and now, the NFL Playoffs are officially upon us, with some blockbuster matchups set to take this weekend as the biggest time of the year is now here.

For those teams that haven't made the playoffs, this is a huge time as well, as many teams are now looking to make changes in their coaching staff, and now, that could effect the top teams as well.

As a result of a new rule introduced this season by Roger Goodell and the NFL, opposing teams are allowed to organize Head Coach interviews with coaches still in the playoffs, and that will effect many teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to reports, the New York Jets are one team that have requested to interview Offensive Coordinator Matt Nagy for their Head Coach role, with Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo also involved in the process.

While the Chiefs have a bye week this week due to acquiring the No. 1 seed in the AFC this season, this is still a major distraction for a team that's preparing to potentially face either the Houston Texans or the Los Angeles Kings a week from now.

It's unclear whether or not Nagy or Spagnuolo will get a role, with only a few openings for some immense Head Coaching candidates across the league, but this simply serves as another distraction for a team that's already got plenty, so now we will wait and see how this effects them as the post-season is here.
