Gary Bettman is facing the heat online after a terrible decision regarding last night's game featuring the Minnesota Wild and the Florida Panthers.

Panthers Outscore in 5-on-5 Play Wild Despite Loss

The Florida Panthers are an exciting team to watch, there is no doubt about that, and last night's game against the Minnesota Wild was no different. The game was physical and featured a ton of goals. The Panthers were able to outscore the Wild 4-1 during 5-on-5 play, however, that wasn't enough to get the win as the Wild capitalized on the number of powerplays they got and won the game 6-4.

This caused some frustration from Panthers fans, saying how good the team was despite the loss.

Outscored them 4-1 even strength (not including the ENG), idc what you say we win that game with Barkov on our PK and PP. Not to mention Minnesota got FIVE powerplays half of them questionable and multiple no calls for much worse against Florida. Jake Brenk 2 games in a row.

Panthers Fans Uncover Disappointing Realization About Official From Last Night's Game

It's clear that powerplays had a huge impact on the game last night, as the Wild were able to capitalize and win based on the extra man advantage. What had Panthers' fans upset, though, was the realization that one of the officials was from Minnesota, raising questions about favouritism.

GUYS YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHERE JAKE BRENK IS FROM LMFAOOOO

Obviously, it is not likely that where Brenk is from played a massive part in the way he called the game. However, it is disappointing for Panthers fans who felt they played a great game only to have it impacted by the calls that were made.

Do you think this is fair?
