Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner, who was worn his hair long for just about his entire professional career, has decided to take a different route going into the playoffs. Lehner, apparently looking to change things up, shaved his head bald. While the act was being discussed on Twitter, Lehner managed to get in a good jab at Tom Wilson of the Washington Capitals while discussing why.

"Alex Pietrangelo on Robin Lehner's shaved head: 'I told him he has to get a tattoo of my face on his head if we win it all. That's the deal,'" said hockey reporter David Schoen on Twitter.

Lehner first took a shot at himself in a reply to the Tweet saying he already has some bad tattoos so it would be no big deal to get another one. Someone replied to his Tweet asking if there was a tactical advantage for a goaltender to have a shaved head. Lehner response got a good laugh.

"Tom Wilson can't grab it when we are at it in the finals," replied Lehner with the laughing face emoji.

Many have argued that Wilson pulled Artemi Panarin's hair while wrestling with him a couple of weeks ago in the incident that would spark a series of events that included many calling on Wilson to be suspended and the New York Rangers releasing a statement saying George Parros, the head of the NHL's Department of Player Safety, was infit for his job. The team was fined $250,000 for that one.

Lehner never has an issue saying exactly what's on his mind and we appreciate it when players gets playful in their responses to fans.
