Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty is taking another poke at trying to help the Kings come back to playoff contention, as he is jutting at the team's ownership to make some moves this offseason. In fact, he wants them to be significant and will be very upset if they are not.

The two-time Stanley Cup champion was asked by Dennis Bernstein of The Fourth Period if he'd be happy with the Kings' direction if the team doesn't make any big changes this offseason.

Doughty replied with a clear and brief response, but one that will speak numbers to the team's ownership.

«No,» Doughty said regarding the question.

The Kings finished 6th in the NHL's West Division this season with a 21-28-7 record, which was tied with San Jose and just 6 points ahead of the tail-end of the division, the Anaheim Ducks.

Doughty has been a major key in any Kings success in his tenure with the team, so it would be expected that the team would try to keep him happy. He is a brutally honest leader, but sometimes that is exactly what a team needs.
