After an exceptional performance in the Stanley Cup playoffs, New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin's lofty contract demands have now been released publicly.
Igor Shesterkin had a dominating performance with the New York Rangers during this year's Stanley Cup playoffs. The goaltender managed a 2.28 GAA and .927 save percentage before being eliminated in game six of the Eastern Conference Finals by the Florida Panthers.

Like many fans and analysts, Rangers reporter Vince Mercogliano asserted on the Jeff Marek Show that he believes deserves to be among the highest-paid goalies in the league.
The final decision on whether or not Igor Shesterkin can get an annual $12 million out of the New York Rangers will have to wait. However, in all likelihood, we could be looking at the next highest-paid goalie in the NHL.
