The Montreal Canadiens announced on Friday that they've agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension worth $2.8 million ($1.4 million AAV) with defenceman Jordan Harris.

Harris, 22, is in his first full season with the Canadiens after signing with them last spring once his NCAA campaign came to an end. In 47 games this season, Harris has 11 points (one goal, ten assists), 18 penalty minutes and is a minus-six.
The Haverhill (Massachusetts) native might fly under the radar a bit, with the media spotlight on a pair of other young defencemen, Kaiden Guhle and Arber Xhekaj, but Harris has played very well this season and is a big part of the future on the blue line for the Canadiens.
