Anna Kane fires back at her husband after the Sharks wingers refutes her claims
It's been a wild 24 hours for San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane, following allegations from his estranged wife, Anna Kane, that the 30-year-old (August 2nd) had gambled on his own games and purposely threw games to win money.
The NHL in cooperation with the San Jose Sharks have launched an investigation into the matter, which Kane has agreed to cooperate with after completely refuting Mrs. Kane's claims.
Kane also issued a pair of statements denying any involvement in match-fixing or gambling and also dismissing the idea that he has been a willing absentee parent to Kensington, Anna and Evander's daughter.
Anna has since responded to Kane's statements on Instagram, once again making public the couple's feud as they head toward, by all appearances, a messy divorce in the fallout of Kane's bankruptcy situation.
Perhaps Kane should have listened to his attorneys when they advised him not to go public with a statement to address Anna's allegations against him, as it appears to have stoked the fire, rather than allowing it to flame out.
Domestic matters such as this have no winners, and it's just really unfortunate that this will all be stored away somewhere on the internet where Kane's children will be able to access it later in life.
Hopefully Kane will take the advice of his attorneys moving forward and refuse to engage in a back and forth battle with his estranged wife, if for no other reason than for the sake of their children.
