It's been nearly a month since the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Montreal Canadiens in the Stanley Cup Final, to win their second straight championship. Prior to the Final, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and United States President Joe Biden made a friendly wager with the leader of the winning team's country receiving a gift.

With the Stanley Cup Final now over, Justin Trudeau took to Twitter to tell Joe Biden that he'll be getting his package that contains a staple of the cuisine in Montreal.

"Alright, I've had some time to recover from the heartbreaking #StanleyCupFinal. @POTUS, a bet's a bet. A package of Montreal smoked meat sandwiches is heading your way – enjoy! And congratulations to the @NHL champs, the @TBLightning," Trudeau said in a tweet the other day.

In a response, Biden said, "I know losing isn't easy, but thanks for following through with your end of the wager, @JustinTrudeau. And congrats again to the Tampa Bay Lightning on your second straight Stanley Cup. You made your country proud."
