Veteran forward Ryan Reaves has been traded to the New York Rangers from the Vegas Golden Knights. The Knights are set to acquire a third-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.

Reaves will be reunited with coach Gerard Gallant who coached him in Vegas. The 34-year-old played in just 37 games with the Knights last season, recording 1 goal and 4 assists.

The grinder does not make his money scoring goals, as he plays one of the most physical games in the league. Reaves led the NHL in hits per 60 minutes last season, and it's likely the next game against the Washington Capitals and Tom Wilson will be an interesting one for sure.
