Montreal Canadiens Veteran Brendan Gallagher Announces Incredible Life-Changing News
Brendan Gallagher is having an extremely productive season thus far with the Canadiens, and his life is about to change a whole lot more going forward.
Perhaps most importantly to his team and fans, Montreal Canadiens veteran forward Brendan Gallagher has been on fire all season long, counting eight goals and 13 points so far with a great deal of energy and enthusiasm.
On Wednesday, the reason for Brendan Gallagher's recent jubilation was revealed to fans. He and his wife, Emma Fortin, announced via her Instagram that they are expecting their first child this winter.
Gallagher and Emma Fortin married during the offseason, and for the first time really was able to enjoy his summer being healthy.
Now turning into a father, it certainly appears the excitement in his personal life is going to be translating onto the ice, where he can hopefully be even more productive than he already is.
This fantastic news was immediately met with an outpouring of congratulations from Canadians via social media for the happy couple.
With three seasons left on his deal, carrying a $6.5 million annual cap hit, Gallagher is intent on making hay while the sun shines in Montreal. As things stand, the 2024-25 campaign has been kind to the forward.
Fans are surely hoping this will give him some extra pep in his skate going forward, as the team still has the playoffs set in their sights due to the rest of the Eastern conference struggling as of late.
