Flyers' Matvei Michkov was recently ejected from a game and signed an autograph on his way out, and a video showing John Tortorella's reaction has surfaced.

On Sunday night, Philadelphia Flyers rookie forward Matvei Michkov was thrown out of a game for the first time in his NHL career.

The incident occurred when Matvei Michkov threw a series of punches at Utah Hockey Club forward Barrett Hayton right in front of the officials who were trying to separate a scrum near the boards.

The Flyers trailing late, the referees promptly decided to eject Michkov on the spot. As he departed toward the tunnel, Michkov stopped to mingle with the fans, halting at one point to sign at least one autograph, a scene captured unmistakably on the arena's jumbotron.

Well, a video has now emerged of head coach John Tortorella being told about Michkov's impromptu autograph session. At first, John Tortorella said he hadn't seen the video and asked what his rookie had done.

After being told Michkov signed a water bottle for a fan, Tortorella looked shocked, asking when it happened and reaffirming he hadn't seen the video.

In any event, it's clear Tortorella isn't pleased about the behavior of Michkov, and one does wonder how the fiery coach will approach the incident now that he is aware of the details.

Tortorella is known to be an old-school type of coach, who doesn't usually tolerate this type of behavior.

There's no doubt that Michkov was just trying to make a fan happy, and we're sure Tortorella is all for that as well, but it has to be during the right place at the right time.
