Nolan Patrick re-signs with Flyers

Nolan Patrick has officially accepted his qualifying offer and will play for the Philadelphia Flyers next season.

The deal is a 1-year contract with an annual average value of $847,125. The contract will expire at the end of the 2020-21 season.

Patrick did not play at all during the 2019-20 season due to a migraine disorder. In the 2018-19 season, he played 72 games and scored 13 goals and had 18 assists for 31 points. He has not played a game since April 2, 2020.

He was drafted 2nd overall in 2017 by the Philadelphia Flyers. He has played 145 games in his career. He has scored 26 goals and 35 assists for 61 points in his career.

He played for the Brandon Wheat Kings of the WHL for 3 full seasons. His best season in juniors was the 2015-16 season, in which he scored 41 goals and had 61 assists for 102 points in 72 games for the Wheat Kings.
