The Philadelphia Flyers took to the ice on Tuesday morning at their practice facility and had a familiar face back, captain Claude Giroux, who was on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list.

Due to COVID-related issues with the Flyers, their game tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes was postponed to a later date to be determined.

But when the Flyers were at practice, many started to question if they had enough to play tonight's game, and they do, but obviously it won't go ahead. They had 13 forwards, six defenceman and two goaltenders at today's skate, which is enough to play.

A video was tweeted of Giroux at practice this morning and DailyFaceoff's Frank Seravalli questioned if the Flyers had 13F/6D/2G to which Charlie O'Connor of The Athletic replied with "yep".

This will likely frustrate teams across the league, including the Montreal Canadiens and Carolina Hurricanes among a few others who had to play games within the last few weeks with less than 18 skaters. It's unclear what happened in this situation because the Flyers clearly have enough players to play tonight's game, so possibly the NHL's announcement last night was a bit premature.

The Flyers will be back in action on Thursday night against the Boston Bruins.
