It has been rumoured for a few months now that KHL standout Andrei Kuzmenko was looking to make the jump to the NHL as early as next season. We now know that at least one team has met with his agent in an attempt to get him to signed.

"Pierre Dorion tells us he spoke to Andrei Kuzmenko's agent (Dan Milstein) last night," said Steve Lloyd of TSN. "Kuzmenko is a sought after winger having a great season with St. Petersburg in the KHL. He was a teammate of Artem Zub's for 2 seasons.

Kuzmenko has been playing with SKA St. Petersburg since the 2018-19 season and has shown steady improvement in point production each year, leading to this one, which is a career best already. The right-shooting winger isn't a big body, at five-foot-eleven and 202 lbs, but has shown the ability to make fantastic plays on the ice.
