To say Riley Nash is well-travelled since entering the NHL is a bit of an understatement. The 32-year-old will now be joining the seventh team of his career after getting claimed from waivers by the Arizona Coyotes. He was placed on the wire Wednesday by the Tampa Bay Lightning after playing 10 games with them and 15 with Winnipeg in 2021-22. Nash was placed on waivers to make cap room for the return of Nikita Kucherov, who is playing Thursday night.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Maple Leafs have placed Nick Ritchie on the waiver wire. The 26-year-old, who signed a one year deal with the Leafs in the offseason, has one goal and eight points in 30 games this season. The former first round pick had an okay start with Toronto, but seems to have fallen out of favour lately due to a lack of production.
