Bruce Boudreau has only been the head coach of the Vancouver Canucks for a couple of days, but he's already endearing himself to fans. During his first news conference with the team, Boudreau got a lot of laughs after yelling "f*ck" into a live mic while trying to get out of his chair. Then, during his first game behind the Canucks bench, Vancouver defeated LA 4-0, which got the hometown crowd chanting "Bruce, there it is!" in the final minutes of the game. Now, Boudreau has created a few more laughs.

While on the air with Sportsnet 650 Radio Tuesday, Boudreau was asked about the chants at Rogers Arena.

"If we lose the next game it could be 'Bruce, there he goes'!," said Boudreau.

He was also asked about defense, something the Canucks have really struggled with this season, leaving the door open for another great answer.

"My philosophy, in a nutshell, is why do we let teams in our zone, ever?," said Boudreau.

It's a great strategy, although likely not very realistic. That said, it seems Boudreau is much more relaxed during interviews than the recently fired travis Greene, who was often very mono-toned and not very animated. Regardless of what success he has in Vancouver, it sounds like we'll be getting some great quotes anyway.
