The New York Rangers have been struggling mightily as of late, and now Journalist Larry Brooks has laid their pathetic performances bare.

After a solid start to the 2024/25 campaign, the New York Rangers have completely fallen off in recent times, and after their latest loss, this team has officially hit rock bottom as they sit dead last in the Metropolitan Division standings.

After weeks and weeks of drama, this team has seemingly fallen apart completely now, and in his latest piece, veteran reporter Larry Brooks has completely eviscerated them, laying all of their problems out for everyone to see.

"The Rangers have quit on their coach, they have quit on the organization, they have quit on themselves, they have quit on each other, they have quit on the fans who pay top dollar to fill the Garden and they have quit on New York."

Perhaps the biggest issue with the entire team has been the final comment made by Brooks, that the team have given up on the city of New York, despite coming into the season carrying the social media tag of #NoQuitinNY.

After already trading away captain Jacob Trouba and young winger Kaapo Kakko, the team have won just four of their last 18 games, and with none of their veterans interested in leading this team anymore, it's unclear what the direction of this team is going forward.

Despite having the likes of Artemi Panarin, Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad, Adam Fox, Alexis Lafreniere and Igor Shesterkin among others, this team is just getting outplayed and isn't putting in the effort needed, and it could lead to some big changes.

With Peter Laviolette and Chris Drury both on the hot seat, there's a real danger of this roster being blown up in a big way, and if Brooks' comments are accurate, this may be the end of a disappointing yet promising core group.
