Robin Lehner is back to the relief of many worried fans, as he has finally broken his silence following some dark and scary social media posts he recently made.

The raw and fragmented posts from Robin Lehner have left fans extremely worried. In the first of his social media messages, he said he felt "fully broken," called his family name "evil" and asked that it be "eradicated," while shifting blame in a myriad of directions.

He said the NHL and NHLPA mishandled their protocols regarding vaccination, adding financial issues such as massive unpaid loans to his partial explanation of struggles.

It was a story that unfolded dramatically over several days, culminating late Friday night when Robin Lehner broke a two-year silence with these emotional messages on social media.

The most bombshell-like revelation in a string of bombshells: Robin Lehner revealed he had spent time inside a suicide ward. He also lashed out in anger at his father, blaming him for ruining his life.

But Lehner thanked an unnamed person within the Islanders organization for helping him through a low point in his career.

One of them was a full-on rant against the Vegas Golden Knights and former coach Peter DeBoer, others full of praise, including agent Allan Walsh and former GM Kelly McCrimmon.

The final message he left out there was bleak and had in it an air of finality that raised concern from both fans and observers alike. Just a sad reminder of what he has gone through.

Breaking his silence again today, in one of the rare outreaches, Lehner said in a text to his very close friend that he sends thanks to everyone who looked out for him, and that he is very grateful for the people who care about him.

These Lehner posts have felt to many like a cry for help over and over. Now, fans and analysts alike hope this is a cue the NHL, NHLPA, and his former teams are starting to take notice, extending any support he may need at such a critical juncture.
