The Dallas Stars held their exit interviews on Friday, and general manager Jim Nill commented on some of the teams injured players and when we should expect to see them back. Of the injuries he mentioned, forward Roope Hintz's sounded the worst.

«He has an avulsion injury of the left adductor tendon,» Nill said. He went on to describe the injury in detail as " a small chunk of bone attached to the adductor pulling away where the tendon attaches to the pelvis area."

Nill added that Hintz will have surgery next week in New York and his recovery time is three to four months, which will put him on track for training camp in September.

Despite being injured all year, Hintz managed to be above a point-per-game player. In 41 games, he tallied 43 points (15 G, 28 A).
