Every time the NHL releases any kind of "top" whatever list, there is bound to be plenty of discussion on social media, much of it regarding how awful the list is. The league's list of the "Top 20 Wingers" is no different, causing plenty of discussion and backlash on Twitter. Let's get right into the list:

Right off the bat, there are people wondering why Nikita Kucherov isn't higher than third overall. He's a former Hart, Ted Lindsey and Art Ross Trophy winner who was just a huge part in helping the Tampa Bay Lightning win the Stanley Cup.

Even the Carolina Hurricanes wondered why Andrei Svechnikov didn't even make the top 20. At just 20-years-old, "Svech" had 61 points in 68 games last season.

Someone did point out that Philadelphia's Claude Giroux is technically a centre, not a winger.

Overall, there's no way to produce this kind of list and make everyone happy. That said, this one seemed to cause more division than usual. Let us know what you think in the comments below the post.
