LeBron James Exposes Media Lies After Shocking Luka Doncic Trade to the LA Lakers
The LA Lakers made a massive blockbuster trade last night where they acquired Luka Doncic, but not everyone was happy, as LeBron James exposed the media.
The sports world was in shock Saturday night when the blockbuster trade was completed between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.
In a shocking three-team deal involving the Utah Jazz, the Lakers sent Anthony Davis to Dallas in exchange for Luka Doncic. This already could go down as one of the most shocking trades in NBA history.
It didn't take long after the news broke for Lakers superstar LeBron James to use his first post on X to speak on the situation.
James was responding to a report from CBS NBA insider Bill Reiter that said he had grown frustrated with Davis. James was quick to squash the speculation himself.
While Reiter added that there were rumors of friction between James and Davis in the past, the two were able to put that aside and perform on the court.
James' response adds another layer to the drama, and according to Charania, the trade came together quickly after the Mavericks initially reached out to gauge the Lakers' interest.
James was reportedly "blindsided" by the news, finding out about the deal after the Lakers won against the New York Knicks.
