After the Vegas Golden Knights and Calgary Flames both released new alternate jerseys, the Dallas Stars have joined the party, releasing a unique “Blackout” jersey. The design features a bright neon green and black. The jersey is sure to pop in any setting.

With Adidas' help, the club is throwing it back to having black as the primary color on its jersey, which was something that the Stars did for their early years. Dallas introduced a brand new color which they are calling skyline green, and it is supposed to show the city's features at night.

The jersey also brought in a slightly different logo. It features the state of Texas' outline along with the Stars' current logo in the middle. It is a bit of a blast from the past, present, and future.

The club also came out with an intriguing video to showcase their new jerseys:

After losing in six games in the Stanley Cup Final to the Tampa Bay Lightning, maybe this can represent a new beginning for the Stars, one where they finally make it over the hump and win the Stanley Cup.
