Along with the thrill of winning the Stanley Cup for one team each year comes the utter heartbreak for the losing side. That was on full display Monday night in a post-game interview with Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn, who couldn't seem to bring himself to answer questions being tossed at him by reporters.

Watching this interview, you almost have to wonder why anyone asked him to go out there and why he agreed to it. Benn was asked three questions over the course of a little over a minute and half, and barely said a word other than "it sucks." Check it out:

Benn has little to be ashamed of. The Stars had some rocky times throughout the regular season, including going through the firing of the team's head coach Jim Montgomery. However, Dallas quickly established itself as a force to be reckoned with inside the NHL bubble for the 2020 Stanley Cup playoffs, making it all the way to the final before losing to Tampa Bay in six games. Benn himself had 19 points (8 goals, 11 assists) in 27 games in Edmonton but, of course, all of that is cold comfort when you've spent months away from your family and don't get to lift hockey's greatest prize.
