$76-Million for Hellebuyck?
Per reports, Connor Hellebuyck is asking for a max-term contract with an annual average value of $9.5-million.
Hellebuyck, who'll be 31 already by the time 2024 free agency comes around, will become tied for the third-highest paid goaltender in the league if he gets his demands, tied with Andrei Vasilevskiy.
His age is a worry, especially considering how many goalies regress and succumb to injuries in their thirties.
He is clearly looking for one last big payday - the only question is, can he get it?
