Big-Name Centre Officially on the Trade Block
With the draft approaching fast, trade rumors and speculations are everywhere.
A recent one, shared by Marco D'Amico on Twitter, predicts an interesting move by the Montreal Canadiens.
Habs Place Center on the Trade Block
Ealier this morning, the Canadiens announced that they signed Sean Monahan for a year at $1.985M.
If he isn't injured, Monahan will make a perfect 2nd line center.
Now, everything points to the fact that the Habs will move another centerman.
Dvorak on the Move?
It has been reported that Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton have put Christian Dvorak on the market.
Dvorak's NTC kicks in on July 1st and they could decide to move him before that.
"The Canadiens could be looking to move Christian Dvorak before his NTC kicks in on July 1st."
He could be included in a package for a big player. As we know, Hughes has a lot of assets available and it wouldn't be surprising to see him extremely active on the market this summer.
