The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced on Wednesday that Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman will have a hearing for interference on Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers.

The incident occurred just over half-way through the third period on Tuesday night. Hartman had the puck in the neutral zone before quickly passing it to Kirill Kaprizov. After the puck was gone, Hartman steps into Ehlers, levelling him to the ice.
A scrum ensued following the hit and Hartman was handed a two-minute minor for interference, as well as two minutes for roughing. As for Ehlers, he was forced to leave the game and did not return.
Tuesday's game between the Central Divsion rivals was a rough one, as the two teams combined for 51 penalty minutes, while both head coaches were jawing back and forth in the final minute after Ryan Reaves was put out late in the game.
