Young Leaf fan disappointed his hero's weren't playing tonight, The organization makes it right

Earlier today, a young fan who's attending the Toronto Maple Leafs Vs Tampa Bay Lighting was let down when he found out Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews weren't in the lineup tonight but both players were in fact resting.

Now according to Gord Miller of TSN, the young man holding the sign has been identified and will in fact meet both Matthews and Marner before the night is over, take a look:

This is why I love the game of hockey Everyone knows why the Leafs are resting their stars, but that won't stop them from making this young fans night.

Not everyone will agree with the Leafs resting their stars and that's fine, the Leafs organization as a whole has proven time and time again to be all class though.
