The vibes in and around the Vancouver Canucks were terrible to start the season, going winless through their first seven games. They won a couple straight to get the monkey off the back, but there remains a lot of work to do in reversing course.

One way management could succeed in fixing said vibes is bringing on a club legend and fan favorite to join the guys for practice. Enter: Kevin Bieksa.

Bieksa played nearly 600 games for the Canucks, including their run to the Cup final in 2011. Whether you've followed Bieksa during his playing days or his time as an analyst, you know that he is just a good vibe and is all smiles.

Until he superman punches your face in.

This could be exactly the vibe-change the Canucks needed at approximately the perfect time. Ten games in, Vancouver shares the honor of being dead last in the NHL with the Columbus Blue Jackets and the St. Louis Blues. If there was a time to mainline good vibes into this team, now would be it.

*Please excuse the heavy usage of the word 'vibes' as I'm just a millennial*

Vancouver's next four games are against teams currently outside the playoffs - Anaheim, Nashville, Ottawa, Montreal. So again, the timing of Bieksa's involvement could not be better. It would be totally unsurprising if the Canucks went 4-0 in their next four games, bringing them back to .500. They do, of course, have to ~win~ the games first.

The vibe in Vancouver has not been positive - at all - but it just feels like this team has more to offer.
