The Boston Bruins have been the best team in the NHL this season, and it isn't really up for discussion. Through the team's first ten games, the Bruins are off to a 9-1 start with an NHL-best +19 goal differential. Despite missing a few of their top players early on - Brad Marchand, Charlie McAvoy, and David Krejci - the Bruins have stormed out of the gate under new head coach Jim Montgomery.

The team is mid-way through a three-game road trip through the northeast, but two members of the group have returned to Boston to have their injuries evaluated.
Forbort is believed to have sustained a broken finger, per Spittin Chiclets' Rear Admiral aka Brian McGonagle.
Swayman, on the other hand, fell after Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron collided into him during the Penguins game Tuesday night. The concern is that Swayman's left leg hyper-extended during impact, and the lack of clarity is disconcerting. Take a look:
The Bruins have already recalled goaltender Keith Kinkaid and have Mike Reilly ready to take Forbort's spot. Obviously, these types of subtractions would be bad news to any team, but the Bruins' depth is marvelous. With all the injuries they have to their team, they still field a very compelling and competitive group.
Boston has the New York Rangers tonight before they head into Toronto on Saturday night. Banged up, will they continue their dominant ways or will they eventually succumb to their casualties?
