Habs announce extension for veteran D-man Chris Wideman
The Montreal Canadiens announced the extension of defenseman Chris Wideman on Monday morning. The deal is a $1.5 million ($750k AAV), 2-year contract.
Wideman tallied 27 points (4 goals, 23 assists) in 64 games with the Canadiens this season playing mostly on the third pairing for the team.
