Ukrainian Hockey League announces it's ending the 2021-2022 season

After Russia advanced and invaded Ukraine on Thursday, the entire world is in shock of what is happening. The country of Ukraine is in a jor panic, and it is not surprising that their hockey league took action as well.

Thursday afternoon, the Ukrainian SuperLeague (UHSLUA) announced that the remainder of the 2021-2022 season would be suspended due to martial law on the territory of Ukraine.

As with the season, the matches of the regular championship of the Hockey Superleague Parimatch will also not take place.

These measures were taken in order to help ensure the safety of players, officials, and their families in what is happening to be extremely difficult times.
