The Dallas Stars have been busy making some roster moves over the past 24 hours. First off, the Stars have picked up forward Marian Studenic from waivers. He was placed there Wednesday by the New jersey Devils.

Studenic, 23, is a fifth round draft pick (143rd overall) in 2017. He's played 25 games in the NHL so far in his career, scoring two goals and one assist. This season, he has one goal in 17 games.

In order to make room for Studenic on the roster, Dallas has placed 29 year old Tanner Kero on waivers. Kero has played 134 games in the NHL throughout his career, scoring 11 goals and 34 points. He was never drafted, instead beginning his NHL career out of the US College Hockey system with the Chicago Blackhawks. Kero has three assists in 23 games with Dallas this season.
