Things just aren't improving for the Edmonton Oilers. If anything, they are getting worse. The team was handed its sixth loss in a row Saturday night, blowing a two-goal lead heading into the third and losing to the 30th place Ottawa Senators 6-4.

"It's definitely up there," said captain Connor McDavid when asked if this was the most frustrating regular-season loss he's experienced as an NHLer.

"We've talked about it over and over and over again in that room and obviously we haven't found an answer yet," McDavid continued.

He then expressed how clearly frustrated he was with the whole situation.

"I'm not sure what you guys want us to do. I think we take our day off (Sunday) and show up Monday ready to work. That's all we can do."

He's not the only member of the team to be frustrated, obviously.

"That's one we let slip away," Zack Kassian said. "We're sitting here talking about the same shit we were talking about before the break."

"We're a frustrated group," he added. "There's not much being said right now. The writing's on the wall."

The Oilers are now 2-10-2 in their last 14 games. They've collected six of a possible 28 points.
