Another postponement has been announced by the NHL as one team deals with an outbreak of COVID-19. The Ottawa Senators vs the Seattle Kraken which was scheduled to take place on January 6th has been pushed off to a later date that has yet to be announced.

The Senators added Thomas Chabot, Zach Sanford and Chris Tierney into COVID-19 protocol along with assistant coach Bob Jones earlier Monday. They join nine other members of the team already on the list.

It was noted by Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun that the game against Seattle would likely be postponed as there were concerns Ottawa would not be allowed back into Canada for a game scheduled to take place on Friday. The list of postponed games in 2021-22 is now over 90.
