Jarome Iginla's son, Tij, gets drafted into the Western Hockey League

It's been an exciting Thursday for the Iginla family as Jarome's son, Tij, was drafted into the Western Hockey League. Tij was selected in the first round, ninth overall by the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Tij Iginla, 15, has been playing with the Rink Hockey Academy Kelowna U18 where he's coached by his Hockey Hall of Fame father, Jarome. In ten games this season, Tij has eleven points (six goals, five assists), and four penalty minutes.

He also participated at the 2021-22 WHL Cup where he represented Team British Columbia. In five games, he had three points (two goals, one assist), and four penalty minutes.
