According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the Vancouver Canucks are considering bringing in Laurence Gilman as their new general manager.

Gilman currently serves as the assistant general manager for the Toronto Maple Leafs, a position he has held since 2018. Prior to this role, he had previously been the assistant general manager for the Canucks. He also worked with the Phoenix (now Arizona) Coyotes in their front office from 1998-2007.

This is just one of several options who have been linked to the Canucks, as on Monday there were reports they were considering former Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin. They are looking to go in a new direction after firing both general manager Jim Benning as well as head coach Travis Green this past weekend.
