Fresh off of his $2,500 fine for suckerpunching New York Rangers forward Barclay Goodrow, Habs winger Brendan Gallagher didn't mince his words when he accused Goodrow of pulling off a good sell-job.

"I kinda' expected (a fine) to come. There are two sides, and there was some acting going on. A lot of players have too much pride to do what he did," said Gallagher.

Gallagher struck Goodrow in the face at the end of the third period, sending Goodrow crashing to the ice, holding his face - though Goodrow was spotted peeking through his fingers following the altercation, leading many to believe that, while the punch probably didn't tickle, it certainly didn't warrant the type of dramatic reaction from Goodrow that we saw.

Gallagher thrives on playing with an edge and often appears to live for the post-whistle extra-curricular activity. In this case though, he probably did cross a line - but if Goodrow didn't sell the situation as hard as he did, it's fairly likely that Gallagher isn't fined in the first place.
