The waiver wire was fairly active on Thursday afternoon. According to Chris Johnston of TSN, Dallas Stars forwards Blake Comeau and Tanner Kero, as well as Nashville Predators forward Rocco Grimaldi were placed on waivers at 2pm ET this afternoon.

Comeau, a former second round pick, and a veteran of 909 career games in the NHL, has only appeared in six of Dallas' twelve games to start the 2021-22 season after he missed the first couple of weeks with an upper-body injury.

If Comeau clears waivers on Friday afternoon, it will be his first stint in the American Hockey League since the 2008-09 season when he was in the New York Islanders organization.

As for Comeau's teammate, Tanner Kero, he's played in seven games this season, tallying two assists. Kero was signed by Dallas as a free agent back on July 1st 2019, and has played a total of 46 games for the Stars.

The final name on today's list is Rocco Grimaldi of the Nashville Predators. After potting back-to-back ten goal seasons, the Anaheim, California native has struggled to start the 2021-22 campaign. In five games, he has no points, no penalty minutes, and is a plus-one. Grimaldi was a second round pick by the Florida Panthers in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
