The Edmonton Oilers announced on Sunday evening that they have issued qualifying offers to four of their restricted free agents. Among the players to receive one were Kailer Yamamoto, Tyler Benson, Cooper Marody, and Stuart Skinner.

Yamamoto, 22, played in 52 games during the 2020-21 season for the Oilers. The Spokane, Washington native had 21 points (8 G, 13 A), 26 penalty minutes, and was a -9.

Benson, Marody, and Skinner all played in the American Hockey League during the 2020-21 season for the Bakersfield Condors. Of the three, Skinner was the only one to make an appearance in the NHL this season, and he earned a win on February 2nd vs the Ottawa Senators. Meanwhile, Benson and Marody both finished the season tied for the team lead in points with 36.

The Oilers also announced that they didn't issue a qualifying offer to pending RFA forwards Jujhar Khaira and Dominik Kahun. Both will become unrestricted free agents on July 28th.
