It's been fairly quiet on the Jonathan Drouin front over the last several weeks, as it should have been. Drouin was "getting the help he needed" assistant coach Luke Richardson said at the end of June.

In mid-April, Drouin left the Canadiens to take a personal leave of absence and did not return for the remainder of the season, nor did he return for the Habs' postseason run.

During Thursday's media availability, Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin shared an update on Drouin and Habs fans are going to be really happy to hear this one.

"(Dom Ducharme and I) met with Jo on Tuesday. Jo feels great, he's focused and ready to go. Expect him to be in Montréal for first day of camp."

The Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec native played in 44 for games for Montreal this season where he had 23 points (2 G, 21 A), 20 penalty minutes, and was a -8.

It's nice to hear this update about Jonathan Drouin. We hope he's doing well and we're excited to see what the 26-year-old can do with a clean slate, starting in training camp.
