Seattle will also reportedly play against the NHL's second newest franchise, the Vegas Golden Knights in their first game in franchise history, although no date has been announced for that one yet.
The National Hockey League will officially unveil the 2021-22 schedule on Thursday night at 6 p.m. ET. The schedule being released tomorrow will include both an All-Star break in late January, as well as an Olympic break in February. Should the NHL not go to the 2022 Olympics in China, they will release their plan B schedule at a later date.
Vancouver will be Seattle's first home opponent. That's Oct. 23 -- a Saturday Night— Elliotte Friedman (@FriedgeHNIC) July 22, 2021
