According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7FM, the Arizona Coyotes have at least five teams interested in trading for centerman Christian Dvorak. Among those teams are the Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, Calgary Flames, Vegas Golden Knights, and Pittsburgh Penguins.

"Have heard several teams showing interest in trading for Coyotes Center Christian Dvorak - Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Vegas and Pittsburgh," Gambadoro said in a tweet on Wednesday afternoon.

The Montreal Canadiens would be an ideal landing spot for the Palos Heights, Illinois native. Montreal is set to lose Phillip Danault in free agency next week, so adding Dvorak would add some more depth to the center ice position behind Nick Suzuki and Jesperi Kotkaniemi. Next season, Dvorak will be entering the third year of a six-year contract where he earns $4.45 million AAV, which is at least $1-1.5 million less than what Danault is likely seeking in free agency.

The 25-year-old has played in parts of five seasons for Arizona, and in four of those five seasons he's scored 15 or more goals. During the 2020-21 season, Dvorak had 31 points (17 G, 14 A), 12 penalty minutes, and was a -11 in 56 games.
