After an emergency meeting between players and Buffalo Sabres' owner Terry Pegula, an insider has revealed what was said and it won't make fans happy . Whether you're a player, a fan, or even the owners, it's not a good time to be affiliated with the Buffalo Sabres.

An emergency meeting was held today between Buffalo Sabres players and owner Terry Pegula that many felt would lead to a big shakeup within the organization.

However, an insider has spilled the details of the meeting-which came about after the Toronto Maple Leafs handed Buffalo their 10th straight loss-and a shakeup was the exact opposite of what Terry Pegula talked about.

According to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff, Pegula told players he believed in them, as well as GM Kevyn Adams and head coach Lindy Ruff.

It's not just that the Sabres are now winless in 10 games, or even that they are 11-16-4 on the season, it's that they've missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs 13 years in a row and look to be headed for a 14th.

That's the longest streak with any postseason games for any active NHL team. Fans are restless, and it's tough to blame them. Now, they're hearing that the owner of the team has no plans to change anything.

The Buffalo Sabres have a day to breath before having to hit the ice against the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre tomorrow night. That's when we get to see whether Pegula's rallying cry had any immediate impact on the players.
